“If we all would pick up a piece of plastic off the street every day, the Netherlands would be free of plastic litter” *.
That’s the sentence that got stuck in my mind after reading a book about sustainable living.
How such little effort can have such a huge impact.
So, I started. Every day I picked a piece of trash off the street. It was interesting to examine the objects: to define what it was, how clean or filthy it was. Was it thrown away or was someone missing this? Who was the last owner?
Every week I ended up with seven pieces of litter I had found on the street: my weekly trashure.
